Accepting these terms

By using Onward's website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Onward. These terms are between you and Onward ("Onward", "we", "us"), based in Denver, CO.

What Onward is

Onward is a matching service. We connect homeowners with a few vetted, licensed, and insured local roofing pros. We are not a roofer. We do not do the roofing work, inspect roofs, or run the jobs. The pros you hire are their own businesses. Any contract for work is between you and the pro you pick.

Using Onward as a homeowner

Onward is free for homeowners. When you use Onward, you agree to:

• Give true and correct info about you and your project.
• Use the site only for real roofing needs, not to spam or harm others.
• Do your own checking before you hire and sign any contract.

No guarantee of outcomes

We work hard to match you with good pros, but we cannot promise a certain price, result, or that any job will go a certain way. The pros set their own prices and do their own work. Onward is not responsible for the work a pro does.

The Onward Promise

Some jobs may come with The Onward Promise (also called The Onward Shield), our backed-protection program. That program has its own separate program terms that explain what is covered, what is not, and how to make a claim. Those program terms control for anything related to the Promise. If there is a conflict, the program terms win for that program.

Contractors

If you are a roofing pro, separate terms apply to you. Roofers pay Onward to be matched with homeowners. See Onward for Roofers for details.

Intellectual property

The Onward name, logo, site, text, and design belong to Onward. You may not copy, sell, or reuse them without our written okay.

Disclaimers

Onward is given "as is" and "as available." We do not make promises about the site beyond what the law requires. We do not promise the site will always be up, error-free, or fit for a certain purpose. We are not responsible for the pros, their work, or any deal you make with them.

Limit on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Onward is not liable for any indirect, special, or extra damages from your use of the site or any job a pro does. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability will not be more than $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Colorado.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If you keep using Onward, you accept the new terms.
