Dishwasher. Won't drain $50–$400. Leaks under the door $50–$300. Residue on dishes $50–$300. Won't start $100–$600. Bad smell $50–$400. A lot of dishwasher "faults" are a clogged filter, which is a $50–$125 item and something you can often clean yourself.
Oven. Broken bake element $100–$300. Noise $100–$275. Gas oven clicking $200–$350. Gas repairs belong to a professional — published safety guidance is that natural gas should only be turned back on by a professional. If you smell gas, leave and call from outside.
