Rankings are earned, not bought

A pro cannot pay to rank higher or to get a better review. Our "best roofers" lists and ratings are based on the checks in The HomeMatchup Shield — license, insurance, warranty, reviews, and track record — not on who pays the most. When a link or listing is sponsored, we label it.

Our cost numbers

The prices in our cost guides come from public data (like the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics), industry reports, and manufacturer pricing. See how we calculate roofing costs and how we rank reviews.
