Emma runs everything published on HomeMatchup and owns the four standards the site publishes against. The hardest of them to hold is the fourth: where something cannot be sourced properly, the section is left out rather than filled with a plausible guess.
That rule costs traffic. A competitor page with a confident invented number will usually outrank a shorter honest one, at least for a while. Emma's position is that this site's entire argument is that you should not have to take a stranger's word for anything, and an editorial team that quietly exempts itself from that has no argument left.
She commissions against real homeowner questions rather than keyword lists, and every guide she approves has to survive one test: could a reader use this to spot a bad quote?

Emma is a real member of the HomeMatchup team and the role and experience above are accurate. You will notice what is missing: no licence numbers, no certifications, no former employers, no awards.
That is deliberate.
