Sarah Williams
Cost & Technical Review LeadCost and data reviewer.
Sarah owns the rule that does most of the work on this site: every cost figure carries the dataset it came from and the date it was retrieved, or it does not publish. She reviews the ranges themselves, the assumptions underneath them, and whether the spread we print honestly reflects the spread a homeowner will actually be quoted.
She is firm about never publishing a single national average. Nobody lives in the national average, and a lone number gives a homeowner false precision at exactly the moment they need to recognise an outlier quote. Our pages publish the range and say plainly what moves you within it - pitch, access, tear-off layers, region, season.
She also runs the re-check cycle. Material prices move, so a cost page that does not show when it was last reviewed is asking you to trust that it is not stale. Ours shows the date so you can judge that yourself.
What this profile does not claim
Sarah is a real member of the HomeMatchup team and the role and experience above are accurate. You will notice what is missing: no licence numbers, no certifications, no former employers, no awards.
That is deliberate. We ask every contractor in our network to prove their credentials at the source before we will introduce them to you, and it would be indefensible to decorate our own profiles with claims you have no way to check. Where a team member holds a verifiable public credential, it will appear here with a way to look it up - and not before. Read the editorial standards, including the correction we published when this site failed that test.
