- Nobody rents in your area. Rental depends on a local fleet and a local engineer. Where neither exists, a reconditioned purchase with a resale plan may get you closer to the same outcome.

- What happens if the need turns out to be permanent - can we convert to a purchase? Some companies credit rental payments against a purchase. Worth establishing at the start, when it can still be negotiated.
- When was this unit last refurbished and serviced? A rental should be a properly reconditioned machine. It is a reasonable question and a good company will answer it easily.
- Does the rental automatically roll over at the end of the term? Automatic renewal is the most common unwelcome surprise in rental agreements across every category, and this one is no exception.
